Deb and Rowan visit us!

For our birthdays, Deb came out to visit us for the weekend.

9 Months of Annabelle, the blossoming month

So beginning this New Year has started a new phase with our family. We have found a great nanny Amanda to watch Annabelle two days a week. We made a great choice to have one of those days be Saturday where Jack can get a bike ride in, I, a yoga class or some sort of self care, a date, or anything we please on our time off...our lives have changed so much from this. The transition for Annabelle to be with a new person has exceeded our expectations. She has blossomed from it so much that now she goes so easily to strangers and can be with mommy in the room without having to be in her arms instead of theirs. Only a month before, this was never the case....a fresh breath of air has come our way.

Annabelle is changing is so many fun ways. January was such a great month for us. Being out in the world as long a she was in the womb, she is ready to explore this world! She loves to wave goodbye, she points her finger at pictures and everything else. She has gotten four new teeth on the top. She has transitioned to actually swallowing pieces of food vs making great noises as she eat but then everything coming out the front. Cheerios were quite hilarious! She reaches out for her daddy out of her mommy's arms...HUGE! 9 Months has been quite enjoyable in the grand scheme of parenthood.

Lily Lyon and Annabelle Rose meet again!

We got a special visit from our dear friends Heather, Jon and Lily Lyon. These two tots are only 5 weeks apart and what a fun age to have them meet up and play together! It seemed like when they first laid eyes on each other, they were like "Hey my long lost buddy!" They laughed and babbled with each other, loving each others company. Meanwhile we got to enjoy a visit to the OMSI, delicious restaurants, a night up at Government camp followed by a brunch to die for at
Timberline Lodge. And Pinapple Express weather that kept the boys off the slopes! Thank you so much for yoru specil visit, its so important to share these special times!
